Landstar was among seventeen trucking companies in six divisions recognized by the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) for its annual National Fleet Safety Awards. The awards honor trucking companies that demonstrate a commitment to safety and accident reduction.

Landstar was recognized in two of the six divisions: Division II (5-14.99 million miles) and Division VI (100+ million miles).

Division winners were selected based on their low accident frequency per million miles. They will be recognized during the TCA’s annual convention March 6-9, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and again during the TCA’s Safety & Security Division Annual Meeting May 22-24, 2016, in Fort Worth, Texas.
